New Narnia photo and an interview
There are a new behind the scenes photo of Rachel and an interview with Arabella Morton, who plays Gael (the daughter of Rachel's character) on the new Narnia movie. She mentiones Rachel once in it:
"I went for the 2nd Audition with Michael Apted and Cort; I didn’t realise I was the ONLY one to do this… guess this meant I was pretty high on the list! Michael was so lovely, very kind to me and funny. On this day I also met Steve Rooke (Nausus the faun) and Rachel Blakely (‘Gael’s’ mum, ‘Helaine’). Rachel helped us by playing ‘Lucy’ during the audition with me."

Here you can read the whole interview.

Rachel on her role in Narnia
Here is what she wrote about her role. You can read the Hungarian translation if you click on the 'Read More'. I'll put it to the Hungarian version of the site too, but now I'm very busy.
Thanks to Rachel Blakely, J&G Reeves-Stevens and!

Hi all,

As far as Narnia goes, Michael Apted was a sweetheart and in the audition asked me why I was interested in the role. Well it is Narnia. I read and loved the books as a child, even my uncle who is in his 60s has seen them all. It was truly a great set to be on, to actually see all of those creatures walking around and sitting on the steps of their trailers was surreal.

Let me see what else... Ben is even more beautiful in real life, if you can believe it possible. Everything from the wardrobe fittings, hair and makeup, to the drive home at the end of the day was enjoyable. Oh,and I cant wait to take Cooper to see it. If you do go to see it, please don't blink at all though or you will miss me.

Hope you are are well and thanks so much for your continued interest in my very small but wonderful life.

Best regards, Rachel Blakely

There are some screencaps from the new movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, whereon Rachel plays a little girl's, Gael's mother. You can see the pictures in the Gallery
Rachel appears for some seconds in the first 25 minutes and then in the end about 1:23:00. So when you watch the movie you can focus on these moments to see her. I hope I can upload pictures and/or videos in better quality soon.
Thanks for the information to Éva!!
